443 - Apartheid Road - Part 1

312 KM of West Bank Apartheid roads are forbidden for Palestinian use.
The highway 443 is one of the most prominent and upsetting. about 15 Km of highway 443 from Modi'in to Jerusakem are going on Palestinian land in the area of the West Bank.
It is safe to assume that the majority of 40,000 Israeli citizens that use this road for shorten their way from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem on a daily basis, are unaware to the fact that they are traveling through the occupied territories. As well as they are unaware that 80,000 Palestinians that live aside the road which had been built on their land, are not allowed to use it to their Metropolice Ramalla.

Its funny because the palesitnians were using this road until 2002, when they started attacking israeli cars they lost the right to use it. If Americans used freeways that went into mexico that was shared use with mexicans and mexicans started shooting at americans would the US close it off to Mexicans.

its not like that.. the arabs who live inside israel use those ways too.. but this only includes some palestinians living in the westbank. and those palestinians living in WB with work permit can use those roads. just because of security reasons. there wasnt any fence or somehting like this before 2000 just after the intifata things changed.. there was nothing like that...

of course you are right. there is nothing worse than "half the truth" and that's exactly what this video shows. if a non-informed viewer takes a look on this video, he can conclude that israelis are not less than monsters enjoying to struggle the palestinians... and yet, someone a little bit more conscious would ask why is this happening and the answers are just what you have written: intifada, suicide bombers, jihad, lynch...etc, etc

Thank you very much for such great clip that provides amble evidence of the Israeli apartheid system in occupied Palestine. The exclusive roads and highways is just one aspect of this racist inhumane system. Thank you for documenting it for those who still do not believe that this apartheid system exists.
