http://www.killoftheday.com - Today we have a kill from not a horror movie. But a great movie nonetheless Burn After Reading. I love the Coen brothers. Sure they don't make horror movies. But they sure know how to kill people. Here is the scene where Chad Feldheimer (Brad Pitt) gets shot by Harry Pfarrer (George Clooney) Tomorrow we will get back to our horror roots and have a very bloody death.

In the movie, George Clooney's character is a treasury agent who's REALLY paranoid and thinks that there are people watching him and out to get him. His first thought when he sees a guy in his closet is that it's some spy out to kill him.

It is a great kill, but you really have to see it in context to appreciate it. This is an otherwise kill-free movie (I don't recall anyone else getting killed, anyway) so its a very shocking moment. And, Pitt's character is such a harmless noob, but Clooney's character is paranoid that someone is out to get him - so Pitt TOTALLY picked the wrong house to sneak into at the worst possible time!
