Who is God? This is one of the hardest questions in life. Josh shows us who God is through His attributes - God revealing Himself to us by his nature.

  • In our hearts we know the above is true. It is not enough to follow “god.”

  • You can save your assumptions, judgements, and insults, Mike.

They are for church, not the real world.

"We are not answerable for sin until such time as we understand right and wrong-before that sin is not imputed. "

Care to back this assertion up with chapter and verse?

  • Again, you know not of which you speak. We are not punished for Adam's sin, but for our own. All have sinned-Adam was just the one who brought it into the race. We are not answerable for sin until such time as we understand right and wrong-before that sin is not imputed.

But I'm sure you can tell Him He's a hypocrite when you meet Him.

  • "Only Christianity is purely of grace by faith, totally undeserved."

Only xianity claims that we are born in sin,

guilty and condemned to eternal torture,

    totally undeserved.

Your god forbids punishing anyone for the sins of their ancestors,

yet turns around and punishes all of humanity

    for the actions of Adam.

    Irrational and hypocritical.

  • You don;t know your religions, sir/ma'am.

Mormonism-works; Catholic-works, Buddhism-well, they're just weird; Hinduism-works; JW-works. Muslim-works. Only Christianity is purely of grace by faith, totally undeserved. Works may follow salvation, but they are a result, not a cause. It is unique. IN fact, many believe that as long as you have a good heart, you can still end up in paradise/union with the ALL, regardless of your beliefs. Again, Christianity is unique: ONE way.

  • "Consider this: one choice to embrace faith in ....."

Yes, yes, every religion says the same thing.

Just fill in your favourite deity's name.

  • He makes the rules, and holds Himself to those rules, because he is holy. Consider this: one choice to embrace faith in Jesus Christ unto salvation, and it means eternal life and bliss. OR...one choice to reject that faith in the same Jesus means eternal damnation and torments. Everyone cries for an equality in God, and here it is-damnation or salvation, your choice-accept of reject, each has a consequence. The Lord has opened the door-go through or don't.

  • I agree with your view here, though remember, the Cevil will be going through hell with the rest of them! Nothing worse in the eyes of God, I believe, than those who treat the precious blood of His Son, Jesus, as an unclean thing, treading it underfoot as dirt.

  • Everyone knows there is a God for what other reason would they suppress the conscience He gave them so they could chase after their self-god? Why would we have a conscience if so many of us desire to chase after exactly the opposite things?

Plus, even if the whole evolutionary thing was somehow true, what started that process and what started that, etc.? How does 0 (nothing) + 0 (nothing) = 1 (something)? Speaking of which, what created the very laws our universe is goverened by?

  • " its nothing great to be someone that loves themselves and loves other people that at least love them a little bit too." is what I meant to say.

So apparently you know that there is a God called YHWH out there...

The only truth we know about Him is what He reveals about Himself through His word and divine revelation. Logicaly you can therefore not say He lacks greatness for you do not know Him.

You actually stated that He is awesome since you used a double negative.
