UVic becomes Canada's First All-Steinway School

Tom Lee Music is pleased to congratulate the University of Victoria School of Music on becoming the first All-Steinway School in Canada. The All-Steinway School designation moves UVic into an elite group of 99 world-class All-Steinway Schools including The Juilliard School, Yale University School of Music, China Conservatory of Music and the University of Melbourne. UVics 60 new Steinway and Steinway designed Boston pianos will be available to students and faculty in all practice rooms, studios and concert halls throughout the school. Tom Lee Music is proud to have partnered with UVic on this historic occasion and we applaud them for their commitment to excellence and their dedication to providing an enduring legacy for future generations of students, faculty and audiences.

What fascism. A pianist should be able to choose the instrument that speaks to hom or her. If a student wants to make a Bluthner sing all the way to the rafters, he's best find another school. And if you like the Ibach, forget it!
