  • That piece Man , It is beatifull¡¡¡

  • @allistairc123 Yes, my comment here. I used to weld and machine these things that were used in a rendering company. they'd toss in a few (dead) cows or horses at a time, 20-30 seconds, they're off to the cooker. For those that don't know, a rendering company uses dead animals to make other stuff, your grand-pa probably called it the glue factory. Years ago, they made a hot wood glue from dead critters. Two of these rotors, a 200 horse electric motor, bone-chrunching sounds were produced.

  • From 2003-2006 I was the Welder at Tri-C machine and Welding in W. Sacramento, Calif. The stuff we often repaired was like this. The item there at the 30 sec. mark is likely one, of two rotors for a carcass shredder. We repaired these for Sacramento Rendering, where they'd toss in a couple or 3 cows or horses (dead) and get shredded before going into the cooker. We did shaft repairs on various rock-crushers, much larger than this stuff, 12-15" diameter, roller bearings were $15K each.

  • you should make a howitzer. lol
