Here is a wonderful little film from the 1950's that was a prize winner at the Venice Film Festival. From the scenes of the empty beach at daybreak to the closing fireworks the day's story is told with excellent cinematography, visual humor, solid narrations and an evocative score. It's all here rides like The Virgina Reel, The Gyro, the Wonder wheel, freaks like the Inflatable man the Human Volcano, the food the attractions the night lights and much more. Anybody that would like to catch the sights and sounds of Coney Island in the 1950's would find it well worth their time to watch this film.
