Basically, you said that you prefer the Asian toilets because you can squat over them and not touch the rim. Can you tell me what is stopping you from doing that in Western toilets?

@ACoustaDC Asians eat less meat and more vegetables, so they generally don't spend much time on the toilet. And trust me, you get used to squatting after about a month or so (It's a great work out too)

M13, what kind of bowls do you have in your own home. I see a big drawback to these for when you have explosive diarrhea. I have splattered bowls before and I can't help but think if that bowl wasn't there to catch it, that would have splattered all over my legs... icky! Is there anything hanging from the ceiling to grab onto? I would want to hover low, but dang.. hard to hold myself up like that for too long, so I would need a chain. Do you rest your elbows on your knees?
