damn it, tuned differently^^

Mick's "Woo!" at about 3:20 makes this version of the song.
Fantastic.

@KUTVgroucho I second that, No I mean 5th that!
-
I don't think Eric really did slide. I know most if not all the slide work in Derek and dominos was done by Duane Allman
-
@HumptyKing I'm not sure, but the lead sounds more like Clapton to my old ears, and Mick is better known as a slide player, but who knows...
-
@cottageorgan are you sure Mick is on slide? Not sure myself about Clapton
-
Eric Clapton slide is very much by Duane Allman style, I think?
It adds that southern rock atmosphere, good
-
Sounds more like Eric playing lead and Mick Taylor playing slide...just saying like. Rocking version, love it.
-
@louisbyron it's Al Kooper on piano, just saying
-
9 people just have white sugar.
If you listen closely to the timbre of the guitars, you will hear 3. Clapton playing the raunchier slide sound throughout, Mick Taylor some rhythm with a small lead break from 1:54 to 2:09, and Keith playing blocked bar chorded rhythm throughout (his rhythm is especially prominent in the mix from 3:25 to 3:50). Bobby Keys on tenor sax, Jim Price on trumpet, Mick, Charlie, and Bill. Not sure about piano but I would guess Nicky Hopkins.

Sorry, but this is not the original version. The original version was recorded in Muscle Shoals Alabama just prior to Altamont. This version was recorded on Keith's birthday in 1970.
