I'm well aware of omnidirectional frequencies and they start closer to 80Hz. Now as a woofer in a 3-way system I can see how 600Hz would affect center to center spacing distances and the off axis frequency response wouldn't lose too much at that frequency but its still very directional there. I am also familiar with certain midbasses/subwoofers being placed under seats and dash boards, but they are generally crossed much lower.

lower bass frequencies (about 600htz and lower) Are omni directional. Wether they are pointed at your shins or are eat eye level the sound will be the same (Barring any interference from the listening enviroment) Some shops will even put mid bass speakers under the front seats

Nice setup man, but I just can't justify spending $250+ for a single midbass to have it pointed at your shins.
