This doesn't really look to be such a difficult thing to do but people are now so used to CCs with automatic hardtops that they can't handle anything 'manual'. However, when the CC mechanisms go wrong - and they inevitably will as they get older - you've got seriously expensive problems!
The only issue with the Pluriel design is that Citroen didn't allow the bars to be stored in the car, which means it's only really useful in full convertible mode in countries where there is reliable weather.

è l'unica sfiga di qst macchina..xkè le devi lasciare a casa e se viene un temporale e se fuori e lontano da casa devi iniziare a bestemmiare...nella smart c'è una cosa simile solo che 2le ali2 laterali li puoi riporre in un vano nel baule...chiaramente perche sono la metà della metà di queste come lunghezza

ma dove le mette dopo averle tolte le due "ali" laterali? cioè, c'è un vano apposito nel portabagli o le lascia a casa?

that sucks!! Having to do all that in order to have a cabrio and vice versa. What if it starts to rain....
