Showing off the Star Trek: TNG Transporter playset of mine that still works after having it for 11+ years.
The figure inside is a Transformer, a Beast Machines Silverbolt.

A two-sided mirror and a light behind it. A dimmer switch make the back light fade off thereby causing the image behind it to dissapear.

Pretty elaborate for just a toy. o.o Many things made now aren't even that good. =\

That toy is still in my parents crawlspace, probably sitting in the same box it came in. I wouldn't be surprised if it still worked. I remember I brought it into school one day and all the kids thought it was the coolest thing ever
