lol, I always imagine the planes are racing when I see this.

@rock853okg You would be making a correct observation if, the A-340 was deviated from flying the same course as the A-380, keep in mind that the A-340 is approximately, 1000 ft. higher than the other. If the A-340 indeed began a descent, Air Traffic Control would have made the A-340 deviate from its course, the reason being is that lower altitude aircraft have the right of way and the higher one must alter its course in order to descend, thus, avoiding breaking separation regulations.

@orozcoangel101 I kinda understand what you mean. But to me, the A340 ie the seond plane at the end of the video looks like it is losing altitude, possibly for a land ing. Maybe that is why the camera is fooling us to believe the A340 is over taking A380 but in actuality the A340 is coming in for a landing ie losing altitude?? What/s your thoughts?

One person who was on the plane that lost the race came to see the video of their defeat

@DJOXTOKS So Intense.

It is called air traffic. It is very common around a normal airport.

@KelvongKlein : stop with your fuc.ki,ng "chemtrails" for chemtards !!! Ignorant idiot !!
These planes are not in the same path, you know clearly nothing in aviation ....
@ultragor It's just an illusion. They are like over 2000 ft apart vertically.

@pgergely13 They are in fact not flying the same flight level,standard separation is 1000ft vertically, and the reason why the contrail seems to last longer on the higher and faster airplane, is because the temperature is about 2 degrees Celsius colder where the faster higher altitude airplane is located. Therefore, the ice crystals from the vapor jetting out of the engines, take longer to melt and dissipate, as compared to the lower, slower airplane.
