I am not holding the baby against the wall. This little girl raccoon is crying, screaming for mommy. They sometimes do this the first day. She cries so much I have to tube feed her. She will stop if I hold her and rub her back. Her brother is quiet and content as can be, a super eater and sleeper. Comments are moderated because I have a stalker who keeps posting nasty comments. UPDATE: She quieted down pretty quickly actually. I am a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. The animal will be released back to the wild when able. • Comments are moderated because I have a stalker who keeps posting nasty comments.,,,,,,,,,,,,, lol since when is ''nasty comments'' stalking ,,,,, not on this planet

  • @Earssss You did not see the comments I deleted. They weren't just "nasty." They were beyond that and had nothing to do with the video.

  • Seeing as I dont already see this comment, im going to assume mine will be removed.. But I'm going to venture a guess that, a large contribution to the reason it is crying, is because you are holding it off its center of balance, with one hand, and up against a wall. A perfectly tame cat, or human baby, would cry just the same..

  • @Casper48022 It's crying because it's orphaned. For the 100th time I am not holding it against the wall. See the shadow? There would be no shadow if it were against the wall. I am merely holding it in front of a white background so you can see her better. They cry in their comfy incubators in soft fleecy beds. It's just what some orphans do when they first arrive just like a human baby would cry if separated from it's mother.

  • What special training do you have to get to become an animal rehabber?

  • @baarbear In order to get your own permit in California you need to work for another rehabber for two years, take a two day basic course, have legal caging, pass an inspection and pay a fee. If you want to rehab wildlife for another rehabber, you just have to sign up to volunteer. Thanks.

  • I don't get why are there so many dislikes... she isn't hurting the raccoon... it had something wrong, so she must bring it home to nurse and all those... and she said she didn't hold to the wall... you can see her hand's big shadow ._. stop assuming without looking properly!

  • Thanks for all the work you do, Mary :)
