This is my entry into BricksInMotion.com's Avant-Garde film contest.

This film is in 3D, so you'll either need to view it using "Cross-Eyed Free Viewing" for the full-color experience or use 3D glasses.

For cross-eyed viewing, set 3D to "side-by-side" and also check "Swap (right-left).

To watch the video in 2D, just select "Turn off 3D" 3D pop-up menu.

For help with 3D cross-eyed viewing, check out http://www.starosta.com/3dshowcase/ihelp.html.

For cross-eyed viewing, I think it also helps to use your right hand to block the right-most image from your right eye and your left hand to block the left-most image from your left eye. The result is that your eyes are slightly crossed and looking through the gap in between your hands. Remember that your right eye needs to be focused on the left-most image and vice-versa. Another trick that makes cross-eyed viewing a little easier is to sit back from the screen. Cross-eyed viewing takes some effort, but the cross-eyed technique produces vivid, full color images, unlike colored 3D glasses which distort and eliminate some color information. Good luck.

  • When watching this on no-glasses mode de-focus your eyes, don't cross eyes!

  • @OKKWAMOS When using "side by side" viewing, I "swap (right-left) so I can use cross-eyed viewing. I think your "de-focus" is referring to parallel viewing (like for Magic Eye pictures). I can make that work for me on YouTube because I think the images are too wide, my eyes would need to diverge instead of cross.

  • i think i know y 3D aint working for most people cus they replaced red and blue with purple and green. red and blue is tradional but guess they think purple and grean dont hurt ure eyes as much and i guess work better

  • @legomaster615 Note that you can pick what ever 3D viewing technique you want to use from the 3D pop-up menu right below the video. I recommend "Cross-eyed" without glasses, or some black&White version with colored glasses for the best looking 3D effect.

  • Am I the only person for whom the 3D worked? Very entertaining, I liked it a lot.

  • @Zoot101 Glad it worked for you. I'm starting to wonder if some people are having trouble with the 3D because they are trying to view by Parallel Viewing (like w/ Magic Eye posteres) instead of Cross-eyed Viewing. If the 3D player is set to one method and someone uses the other method to view it, the 3D will looked reversed.

  • Nice Lego 3D video!

  • awsome 3d

  • @ancientbricks cool defeats my purpose that ppl just dont have red blue glasses anymore for they can change it to green and purple nice effect

  • Well it was nice in all, but it ended WAY to quickly. A proper ending would be nice next time. Other than that I enjoyed it.

  • Good 3d, especially with the camera movement. And it was funny.

  • The 3D was amazing! I liked this film a lot!
