Repost from ConstitutionFirst178
We the People of the United States of America, Use the term Democracy loosely. or rather incorrectly, We live in a Republic, and the reasons are that We are ruled by law not by "Majority" nor by "Oligarchy". We have rights to free thinking and trading and Properties. These rights were set forth by our fore fathers to ensure that there would be NO Anarchy nor Oligarchy Rule. Only with one stipulation is...

  • Anarchism must be our eventual goal. The Greeks were petty dictators and oligarchs, and their beliefs should have no bearing on our society.

Private individuals and the firms they make up are best at defending their personal liberty.

  • @SeamusLight93 come on

  • @DarkMonkArt

    Is that it?

  • @SeamusLight93The Greek systems deterioration is basically the same. Because your not living in Roman times doesn't mean the same corruption is happening. Your making excuses against facts. The first thing your going to do in an anarchist system is vote a leader amongst the people in your private group, or he will take the leadership roll, and Rule you by force.

The constitution is the Rule that keeps them from doing it, but it hast to be adhered to.

  • Thanks Brother for uploading such a Wonderful Documentary.

  • Yes, Thank you DarkMonkArt! You have helped to enlighten me even more with this vid! One can truly see the parallels of our society and Rome...sad to see that our Constitutional Republic is now in it's death-throws.

  • Thank you DarkMonkArt, nicely done.

  • @DarkMonkArt

But the Constitution is almost never adhered to! The goal is to make any kind of governance as small and local as possible, with the ideal being complete individualism. If someone's rights we not respected by another individual, it wouldn't be nearly as bad as a behemoth government bureaucracy with the means to trample ALL of our rights.

People don't NEED to be herded. Some are just easier to control than others. If they were left alone, they'd be perfectly happy.

  • Creating a republican form of government like the founders did, is the easy part. Keeping it is an entirely different thing. Our republic was having problems from the get-go. I mean from day one. The right form of government is important but it shouldn't be the goal. The goal should be intelligent, compassionate, peaceful people who can coexist for the benefit of everyone. Governments are just a coral for people who need to be herded. We have a world-full of them.
