You are right, rugby originates from private (prep) schools in England, and that is why it is refered to as the "gentlemens game", south africans, ozzies and new zealanders are obsessed with the sport, more so than the northern hemisphere, where soccer is king. As for Latin America, the Pumas can be really awesome to watch because they give the game a lot of flair.

I'm a bok living in Brazil. RFU make a rugby manual in languages other than English if you want to spread the best game in the world. They like fighting in South America (they kill refs here in football). Let's introduce them to a great contact sport! I brought a rugby ball here with me, they think it's American football because no one sees rugby unless they pay for satellite TV (ESPN). Kids here in Sao Paulo are so interested in a different shape ball. 20 million here and they love beating ARG
