I have a suggestion for the performance. Take the foil coin, show it openly between your first and second fingers, then tear it in half! crumple the pieces and hand it to the spectator. It will pass as two pieces of a torn and crumpled coin. (beforehand have a coin in your hand concealed) Then fake take the foil pieces and obtain the real coin. Hand it to the spectator. Torn and restored coin!

if you press really hard and use your nails instead of a knife, you will have better results. i made one and it looks SO FREAKING REAL!
