Scott Rockenfield could be Neil Pert if he really wanted too. Neil Pert is the best drummer right now, but he just like anyone else will be surpassed in time.

I love Queensryche bout as much as anyone , but let me tell you this, there "Isn't" and there "never will be" The Next Neil Peart , He is quite incomparable to any drummer on the planet , it is not so much to be able to play like Peart, you have to come up with those highly out of this world CHOPS he comes up with , this video to me is abso freaking lutely amazing though that he would do this video , you guys are so damn lucky !!! I love Geoff Tate Best voice in Rock and Roll !!!
The drummer is the next Neil Peart. Of course the sound is crappy, it's a super freaking small room and this (no offense) isn't a great camera quality. The guitars do NOT sound out of tune, thanks. I was there. It sounded great. Really loud, but great. One of the guitar players is the best LITTERALLY one of the best in the midwest. Yeah, the drummer messed up a couple times. But I'd LOVE to see you play like him.Thank you to the people who actually are reasonable.
These are my friends. I'll tell you the situation. Queensryche was playing a show here in KC, MO. They somehow found out about us School of Rock kids and came to our place so we could meet them and Houseband would play some of their songs. Later, Queensryche INVITED Houseband to Shiprocked Cruise in the fall. The reason why our drums sound like shit, is because they are shit. They're not our own personal, it's what the school could afford. Everyone in this band is younger than 17.
I'd say the kids are playing pretty damn good for NEVER playing WITH Geoff before...and also playing the guys music in front of him. I'd be pretty damn nervous...
I don't know what the situation was here but Geoff did not deserve this it is an utter outrage the whole band is missing ques left and right and they are out of tune,if those drums are mic'd you need to get Yamaha recording customs and try again......... If I was a manager for Geoff I would never put him in this type situation he is a vet rocker and deserves respect !!!!!!!!
@BeckyxStarzz That's too cool that they were willing to do that. That must have been unbelievable for these kids. Hats off to QR for doing this.
