@jrowe6 umm i disagree with that my mom is the leader of the pack an we have german shepereds. my male dog likes to fight my other male cat to be dominate so yes a dog will fight another follower of the pack to move higher in the rank. but luckly my mom wont let him since my male cat was the first pet here.

that rott knows the baby is fragile, its knows its a young member of the pack that needs to be cared for. it does not see the baby as a theat. plus, a dog with a proper leader will not struggle with the other pack members for dominance because that leadership role has already been filled. there are two roles with dogs, leader and follower, the followers dont fight the other followers to be higher on the list of followers. they fight the leader to be the leader. healthy dogs that is. like this 1
