MSTS video and sound test 2

This is a short vid showing a PRR decapod locomotive hauling some coal wagons, all the wagon sound effects were recorded in game, i have modified the sounds to be more realistic than the default sounds. you may have to turn up your speakers because the film isn't very loud, fraps always records sound at a low level for me.

This was done quite a while ago so I don't remember which one it was, in fact I think in this video I was using a fairly normal setup, the only thing that was different is that you could move the spotter cam around freely. For my more recent videos I use a modified yard cam that you can aim anywhere instead of just straight down, it can also go anywhere on the route instead of being limited to just yards.

I have the download version of fraps from train-sim (dot) com.

it doesn't record sound and the picture gets funky when you finalize the video in microsoft movie maker.

any sejestions short of getting the payware version.

I have never had that problem before, what version did you download and what do you mean by funky, is the picture split in two or is it sort of twisted.

there's a newer version that does record sound, as well as better quality, in the demo. Go download it from the official site.
