Alicia Keys - Empire State of Mind Part 2 cover by Danny Edwards.

I recorded the verses and choruses in seperate takes (using different compressor settings) so you might notice that the sync looks a bit strange at some points of the video!

Backing track at http://www.youtube.com/Pianosven - many thanks for this!

  • wooooooooooooooooow i am speachless

  • COOL :)

  • I can't find a part of this that doesn't give me chills. Your voice is phenomenal.....

  • That was amazing! Such a beautiful powerful voice, hurry up and get famous, I want to buy an album!!!

  • pretty amazing voice, not suiting to some genres but excellent range especially because most would go falsetto and be lazy. A tip though is to use a pop filter as you get occasional plosives on the mic and also to use a De-esser on the vocal you have great control over esses but it would help the vocal sit better. The last thing would be not to hold the headphones, it's a habit you need to shake. great performances!
