i get this cartoon two thumbs way down

superman is suppost to be the man of steel more powerful then the 1940 cartoons make him , he is too weak in these

@guodone I agree with you on the 'all-powerful' Superman- he is almost godlike nowadays. These older cartoons reflect a more human side of Superman- just stronger than everyone else. I also enjoy the music and artwork of an older generation.

How the heck do you sneak around an opera house in blue tights and a red cape without being noticed? Both times I tried it, it was a disaster!

Ha ha! Those facial expressions are just like from some live action movie.

Wait... Was that Bugs bunny?

Actually Jimmy Olsen was named Louis and made two appearances. One in Showdown and the second in Destruction Inc. which aired christmas day 1942.
These Superman cartoons are great. The thing I like about them is that it doesn't portray Superman as 'all powerful'. It takes some effort on his part to do things, like breaking out from the cavern under the floor and pulling the bars off the window. Check out the other Fleischer Superman cartoons on u tube. (Superman 1941, Bulleteers, Eleventh Hour, Japoteurs, etc)
