This video Highlights exactly what the Un Charter states with regards to freedom of Religion and shows why Artur Boruc is not quite the pantomime villian the media and Certain groups in British society would have us all believe he was, simply because he chose to wear a t-shirt of the late Pope John Paul II which he displayed at his own fans and no one else at an old firm game.
Any intelligent persons first question would not be,
'Why did he try and provoke the Rangers supporters?' but
'Why does a symbol of peace and benevolence such as Pope John Paul II cause such a reaction in these people?'
Also another intelligent question would be,
'Why couldn't Aiden Mcgeady enjoy a night out after his footballing win without being assaulted by Rangers supporters?' rather than
'Why was HE so stupid to go out after it and make them do it?'
Another intelligent question would have been,
'Why did one Celtic fan suffer a heart attack which consequently killed them, and why was another stabbed to death on the Sunday night of the game?'

We are still waiting on these intelligent questions to be answered by the Scottish media, the law and Members of Parliament (Scottish or otherwise)...when they calm down about someone wearing a t-shirt with a man on it who Nelson Mandela said made the world undoubtedly a better place due to his legacy and teachings..when they stop being so outraged about that, maybe someone will devote some time and column inches to answering those sensible questions put forward

In the meantime watch this video...and support all Religion and all faiths...support Catholicism.
Support men like Artur Boruc who do not shy away from the duties required in their faith........

  • i remember a number of years ago a certain gerry mcnee was outraged that anyone would bless themselves at ibrox, citing that it could cause a riot and that there was no place for this public showing of faith in football.

rather than tackle the main issue{bigoted rangers fans} he raged that the player was out of order.

pretty sad really when this is not an issue outside scotland.

deny and deflect and getting away with it for over 100yrs.
