    That was John Bolden, NASA Administrator, retire Marine Major General and former astronaut himself, nominated by Pres. Obama, confirmed by the senate. His language, I believe caters to the politicians in Washington (i.e., US Congress) to effect more funding to NASA in the future.

    At the time of the pictures you are referring to, the camera dust covers may have not yet been retracted. These are to protect the camera lenses from dust blown around by the sky-crane rocket engines.

    nice!!! ultimate tecnology but on the back screen at 11:10 seems it runs Windows XP.....first released to computer manufacturers on August 24, 2001... so it would be like 11 years old operating system .... it makes me wonder if Curiosity Rover has Windows 7 as operating system .....:)))))
