Bobby was committed to Prince, and Prince respected that greatly. The thing is, Sheila E. was one of the people in Prince's circle since the mid-80s, and also a contemporary drum phenom. Bobby openly stated that she was undoubtedly in the top 5 of greatest drummers at that time. Bobby was dismissed from the band quite amicably, and as a matter of fact, he kept on receiving a paycheck from Prince well after his involvement with the group.

I don't get it... Bobby was ultra committed to Prince, he was loyal, tight thing... then he got a gold watch and a see ya?
Still difficult to understand what really happened, I sat straight up in my chair thinking oh, he's going to explain it and nope.

I gotta admit, I use to watch the Fancy Ray show when I was younger. The show was pretty cool. And Ray had some really great interviewing skills. I mean really good questions from start to finish.
