  • Wonderful. Keep doing the same, man. Many of us need to fill ourselves with the life and nature you bring us. Perhaps, if you would change the theme for another one... how about "Orinoco Flow"?. I believe is Celine Dion ( or something) the singer.

  • @MrJoseluisan Thank you very much for your kind of words. I'll try to keep the quality. Regarding the soundtrack: I plan to do a video of Orinoco, with the Orinoco's flow as a soundtrack, but I'm waiting for going to Puerto Ayacucho to get some images from the Orinoco river there, Maipures, Atures falls, perhaps upstream there... I have the Orinoco at Cdad. Bolivar, PZO, Barrancas and Delta. This song is also song by Enya. Cheers & thank you for watching!!

  • What a beautiful video! I liked everything about it. Thanks, Anto. But what happens to the people living in those houses over the water if the river floods? -oh and what is the 'bora' plant? Is it edible or just a weed?

  • @gruntlesnoot Hello my friend from the antipodes! Thank you for your gentile words. These houses, called "palafitos" have the floor above the average level of the river. They don't care too much in case of flooding. The floor of these houses are made of tree trunks (shown at 2'36", 2'52", 3'04") and the drainage is instantaneous. I observed a diference of half meter (20 inches) between the day river level and the night one.

  • @gruntlesnoot Some small rivers near there even change the flow direction because the Atlantic's tide!!

Bora is a weed, but it cleans the water, it is like a polution's cleaner as the piranha, but cause damage to boats and, in Brazil, to dams too. It floats and some floating islands are really big (1'00"-1'06").
