Although it is commonplace now, way back in 1960, Hollywood and the UK film companies used "pop music" to help launch current movies. Here from a British made movie "Circus of Horrors" Garry Mills sings the haunting "Look For A Star". It's just one of those records in the vast Radio Venus record library, which is constantly being played, 50 years after it's intial release. And, of course, one day, like the sad faced clown in the clip, you're sure to find someone to lo-o-o-ve. Cute phrasing by Garry! (Listen at the 1.08 time stamp) Enjoy.

  • The Film was made at Beaconsfield studios in England - a long way from Hollywood!

  • @leoseries57 Yes of course. It was Anglo Amalgamated Films Ltd in the UK. (Lynx Films was the Production Company) . Sorry for the misleading title, ...but it was a big hit here in Hollywood!!

  • Great movie, and one of the best scenes. Love this song. There is some history behind its multiple versions as I've found.
