  • the dvd is coming out in january!

  • Great! tx for info

  • Bonitatibus inna bodice - it doesn't get much sexier than this. Interesting to get a POV from the orchestra pit itself, by the way.

Pity we didn't get a shot of Juno "correcting" Lichas around the 8.49 mark, though. It's going to be a long wait for the DVD, isn't it, boys and girls?

  • Really, they plan a DVD? Great. Honestly, what DNO have created here (again, after Casor&Pollux last year) is another milestone in rarely-performed-baroque-treasure reviving. In terms of stage design, costumes, ballett for me the top baroque address in Europe at the moment. Hope the DVD doesn`t take too long. Can`t they just publish a raw (unshaky) filming of a performace?

  • From afar, I thought she looked like Anna Caterina Antonacci, then in close up, she looked more like Waltraud Meier. Anyway, she cuts a hot figure on stage, just like those 2 greats. And her vocalism is so impeccably healthy and attractive, I just can't think of anything to criticize about. I probably felt that especially because I'd just heard Kasarova right before this. AnywayI can't wait to get this on DVD. I love the whole entire cast! (Ovenden and Pisaroni... Swoon!)

  • MERAVIGLIOSO!
