This is the song I took the name of the poem for her from. Wonder how many ever got that. Janis' producer sent her version to one of the writers, Richard Rodgers (jerk)- his response? "Tell her to never record one of my songs again." Yeah- sums up her life really. Damn it makes me cry... "Go on and sit riiiight BACK DOWN!"

not totaly true.. I'm 18 years old I love janis joplin any more of her time. and so do alot of friends of mine.

this music is so good, it can't die, and will hang around our ears for ever man.
