I always loved this song by Janis. She poured her heart and soul out in this performance, as she did with all her performances. That's what I loved about Janis Joplin. She didn't just sing the song, she poured her whole heart and soul into it.
With this song it's like she's singing about herself. Thanks for posting this video.

Thanks for putting this here. You're right. It's seldom seen. Saw it once before many years ago on TV. Didn't know it was from The Tom Jones Show. I remember seeing them "dueting"; don't remember what they sang, but it was scary. Pretty cool in the 60's the host could be square as could be, but they'd have Janis & Gracie, whomever on. Red Skelton (who?) had a lot of groups on (Doors, Steppinwolf, etc) and he was as corny as they came. He and "Clem Kaddidlehopper". Thanks for the tune ;9B

A very simple song, but says so much.

@SeekTruthNOW What-A-Day, for all of us children & parents, to finally be with our beloved ones, and share together how we've learned to trust in Yahweh, for the Arrival of this forever mending day. HE Can Never Fail, for He Has A Father's Heart too, and for Us`All!!! Sincerely, Autumn Joplin Yssachar ;-)

@SeekTruthNOW And if thee love for truth be found in them, they will meet us both upon that shore of Glory, and hear the 2 of us singing Amazing Grace, just for them. I'll reveal in the day, and patiently wait, for that precious meeting, so very long awaited, by the both of Us. Thank Yah!

@SeekTruthNOW I know that I will someday soon see Her in Heaven, and the wounds this old-world has left upon both our souls, will all be healed and we'll be whole, by Heaven's Light of unity within Love, and alas we'll be Free. I too love to Sing; it must be a dna*thing! I'm so happy about all these (still) millions of fans of Her's!! And I can only pray that they'll love Freedom, as much as I know we both do...

@SeekTruthNOW There are 3-songs she was able to sing to me (her baby) "Maybe",,, & especially "My Farewell",,, "Little Girl Blue". My mom was clever enough and strong-willed enough, to sneak these songs past her manager.

@SeekTruthNOW As an adopted child, I've missed the chance of knowing Her, & I truly Wish I could've known Her, as she was forced to give me up. I know if She were alive today, she would feel and truly*say the same for me, her only child and daughter...

Through a whole lot of Research, with alot of Time and Prayer, by both of us known as good researchers, and my hubby known for his research and speaking engagments at major Universities, gatherings and churches, I think I may have found my maternal Mother. I love My MOM, WOW! This Makes my heart So Glad that Her Amazing Voice is still SOO Very Popular!
