@BeezQuixote yeah, coach huang came to europe and then bunch of us got better here (including me), till he left to go to malaysia :( now malaysia has him BOEHOE!

Great! Coach Li is all about basics. She and a few other coaches came to the Midwest. I guess they've spent a lot of time on the east and west coast and wanted to branch out a little. So yeah, she teaches at a few schools in Chicago and the suburbs. They're all great.

not much but I get a break from school in November and December, so that's why I decided to go over there and work with li qiang , so I can clean up my basics :D
-
Sweet! Yeah, it's not really hardcore, there are lots of beginners, so it's pretty chill, but most likely either she or the other Wushu Coach will work you till you want to die.
What's in November?

Dude, coach Li is like the coolest person ever. She's super patient with clumsy Americans like me. But I definitely improved since she came to teach at my school like a year ago. And yeah I'll probably be at Berkeley if I can afford to do it again.
-
man, you traing with li qiang?? if so I'll be visiting you in november :D

awesome! i met li qiang at university of maryland's university games in 2008, i don't think she'll remember bee, we meet at dinner after the tournament. I heard she's an awesome coach. i had friend who trained with her in shi chi hai. try to compete as much as possible, i know chicago has that Wushu Gong Fu Tournaemtn thing,I went in 2002. You going to berkeley? Pc out!

Thanks! Yes, I do Nanquan with Li Qiang. I feel by the next USA trials, I'll be ready, but now I'm not even close, because I never put a jump in a form unless it's perfect. I'm also learning spear/straight sword, and I love it so much, it's like we were made for each other.
thanks for all the nanquan vids B, you're my biggest influence regarding my current training :P

Yeah xie fu crap was very good in 2004. He has a coach from guangxi Huang Shao Xiong, but I think him and wpc got worse after HSX left and plus XFY's injury caused him to change his style (notice his new style has no stance switches, no 3 step movements, and more running and power poses). pc out!
