Impractical for me to keep a dog. I see people RUIN their vacation plans over a dog and this kind of dog-fawning attachment is vomitous.
PS no I do NOT want your dog at my house, you CAN leave them at home for two hours. Believe it or not, the whole world does not want your dog running all over the place, stupid.

The dog knows he can walk right through the door. He just thinks it's funnier to make you open it for him. Next thing you know he'll have you picking up his poop.

Funny, but in a way, sad. As a professional dog trainer I can tell you what's happening here is that the dog has learned very well that the opening door is his cue for going outside. That's not stupid, but well trained, whether intentional or unintentional.
