This is the only version of "Things Don't Change" (one of my favorite song- it's right up there with Strawberry Fields Forever) that i've been able to find them doing.

It's very possible that the paying gig they mention was by birthday party. Zeitgeist played at my surprise b-day party in May, 1984. It was truly an awesome party. I have some great pics! And amazing memories. I probably saw Zeitgeist (and Reivers) play every Austin concert between 1982 and 1985. First saw them at The Beach I think. Does anyone have video of Garrett singing Sweet Jane? If y'all are out there - Reivers, miss you much! Thanks for being such a special part of my college days.

Things don't change is my favorite song from Translate slowly. I have a bad mp3 made from an old tape. I think I will try to clean it up a bit.
