The rocking full-band version of "When Robots Cure Cancer, We'll Talk" from the Lighthouses single launch. Filmed at Bar Medusa in Wellington by Veli (@HoccusFoccus), thanks Veli :)

This was the first song of the set, and you can tell we're just getting into it. However I would like to point out all mistakes you can see in this entire video are made up for by the kick-ass jump at 0:51. Hell yeah.

DANNY DROUTSOS Guitar + Vox
GARETH BRADLEY Bass
TOD ROBERTSON Drums + Vox Together they make (most of) THROW IT TO THE FIRE http://www.throwittothefire.co.nz
-----------------------------------------------
Welcome to the future
There's less astronauts than I thought there would be
Surrounded by computers
It's hardly heaven but at least it's not Soylent Green

I'm in love with the Hadron Collider
Geeks in search of the universe
But neither gods nor particles will do anything for the kids of the Third World

I want it all, and I want it all, and I want it
I'm waiting for the Rapture
Spirit adaptors, and velociraptors
Somehow I don't think the future's what we though it was

When robots cure cancer, then we'll talk
When England's not afraid of the poor

I will not be afraid, no I will not be swayed
I will not bee ashamed, to call the demon by its name

A wise woman once said to me, there is no fate but what we make
So until there's T-1000s in oncology, I'll still be here, I'll still be awake

When I look around, when I look around I don't see a meritocracy
Just mediocrity
And it's a shame, it's a shame, it's a shame
That everything regal isn't strictly illegal

I want it all, and I want it all, and I want it
I'm waiting for the Rapture
Spirit adaptors, and velociraptors
Somehow I don't think the future's what we though it was

When robots cure cancer, then we'll talk
When America's not afraid of dinosaurs

I will not be afraid, no I will not be swayed
I will not bee ashamed, to call the demon by its name
