It is addressed, healed and transcended thru forgiveness.

  • As I understand Caroline, she's talking about legitimate suffering. She's talking about mourning the pent up negative aspects pf ourselves which remain repressed and go back as far as childhood. But HOW do you address this DIRECTLY? Is there a specific kind of psychotherapy?

  • are humans the only products of nature that dont seem to work very well

  • What makes you think that I've forgotten about the issue of freewill? And what makes you think that I've forgotten about the importance of developing our intuitions? And do you agree or disagree with my point? I can't tell.

  • You seem to forget that humans have free will, and if they really work on developing their intuition - great things can happen.

  • Some people adopt GURU's Who market Free form irresponsible beliefs that are supposedly enlightened freedoms when in fact they are the opposite. COMMON SENSE is something I believe in. I See very little evidence of COMMON Sense in most people..and in some people there is NO evidence of any reliable thinking going on. lol..and in some people intuition is emotion gone BONKERS. Myss uses Jungian archetypes as a tool to teach her insights- may not always seem reasonable. But I see your point!

  • It almost sounds like this woman is trying to show us that it is reasonable to doubt the appropriateness of applying reason to medicine. Isn't this ironic?

FYI - The study of reason or logic is the study of reliable thinking. Disregarding what our experiences and intuitions tell us about reliable thinking is irresponsible. But dismissing reason allows us to adopt any belief whatsoever about the world - and allows people to profitably market likable beliefs for which there is no evidence.

  • "...fear of being humilated..every choice they make, including thier inablity to heal, is governed by their inability to forgive that which has humilated them."

This speaks volumes to me and discribes 2 people who I've known that suffered long illnesses.

  • I must admit, that sometimes, I don't heal, because I think I can get away with not needing to for awhile, until my illness confronts me to such a degree that I absolutely must make a change or I will set a trajectory of disintegration.
