why do people argue with pelet guns?

You said buy a water proof case but it's even cheaper to get six inch pvc pipe and throw some caps on the ends and use pvc glue. Really simple and easy 100% capable of being buried too. Just through a few humidity absorbing packs in it.

The biggest question you have to ask is whether our military and police, our friends and neighbors, are going to turn on us because they are ordered to do so. Maybe, initially, but not for long. The people with the money have made the money useless, we may be broke for a while, but nobody is going to show up at your door with a gun. This isn't Australia!!

Regarding gun confiscations, every gun owner should carry with them a copy of H.R. 5441 (Section 706), of the 2007 Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, signed into law by president Bush. Section 706 prohibits law enforcement from confiscating guns during a state emergency or natural disaster. It was designed to prevent another Katrina fiasco, where law enforcement were forcibly entering homes to confiscate guns from citizens that had them legally for self defense.

All i got is a 9mm desert eagle and a 30-06 stevens bolt action. The problem here in Canada is we have to register ALL our firearms regardless where we buy them.

@CJBroesky Debra Medina who ran for Texas governor said "Gun registration is the beginning steps of gun confiscation".
