  • @ArcanineDexia Obvious troll is obvious.

  • Social justice is just another term for ''give the government more power''. Those who think social justice will help anything have another thing coming. There will be no social justice here in America. This is the land of the free, not the land of the slaves. Those who like social justice are free to move to N.Korea where you can have all the socialism you want.

  • Very good exemplary the quotations relate the social justice. I was present during the protest Gallaudet University. it was very painful at least we made it good thanks for the unity by factulties, students, staff and alumns. Great MJ.

  • of course she means for the hearing. besides ASL isn't universal even among the deaf.

  • subtitles for those with hearing ?

  • I'm working on a project on Deaf activism and minority rights for government and ASL class, and I desperately need the text to this video. Anyone feel like testing their skills and posting a transcript? Thanks in advance!

  • now i understand, that makes me feel much better.

  • If she does not practice what she preaches she is like an empty that makes too much noise. She really needs to practice before she preached.

  • MJ Bienvenue is one of my ASL heros from Charlotte Baker-Shenk and Dennis Cokely's "green books" of American Sign Language. In this video, she succinctly and powerfully explains the concept of social justice as it pertains to the Gallaudet University community. I especially admire how the video is intersperced with quotations from famous fighters for social justice in history, such as Ghandi, Martin Luther King Jr., Susan B. Anthony and Cesar Chavez. Marvelous video, thank you!
