i decided to compare the internal mic and an external condenser Uni-Ultra-Directional shotgun microphone which i bought off ebay for £21 delivered.
I didn't bother editing the audio to make the audio come out of both speakers when using the external microphone so you will only get left channel audio for that but you can still hear the difference in quality even though it isn't stereo.

Instructions:
Load batteries properly according to the + - polarities marked on the microphone battery shell. Connect the audio frequency output cable and cap Anti-wind foam.
