In fact most of the English voice actor in FF7CC sucks...
Japan's voice actors are trained professionally for ages. They could only cast very minor characters for 2 or 3 years at the beginning so as to master their skill step by step. And that's why they are doing a lot better than the west.
And that's why I started to learn Japanese... Luckily, FF7CC's Japanese is quite easy that I could understand nearly all the lines (except the stupid Loveless) after half year of self-learning.

I've said it fifty million freakin' times. If David Bowie signed up and did his Jareth voice from the Labyrinth, you'd have perfect Sephiroth.
