Now that I have seen the film and gotten a closer look at the toys, I concur with your assessment. I thought the phasers in the film were rather cheap looking, so it doesn't necessarily reflect badly on the toy itself. I absolutely love my Enterprise though, and will probably get a tricorder since that's my favorite prop. Maybe I'll put that next to the DST science and medical tricorders when I get those too. I'm dying for the Narada to come out, and am also hoping for the Kelvin and Jellyfish.
Hey trust me this thing aint cheap! I am not offended or anything but this thing looks exactly like the movies phaser. The sound sound shitty on the video but anyway the phaser is kick ass. It is almost like a prop! Except it being made of metal...lol
Shame, it looks and sounds cheap, with the power up sound the only one that I actually like. The only things I actually like about this line are the ships and figures, as the roll playing toys just seem too cheap sounding and looking. The Enterprise is first on the list though, closely followed by Narada.
