fuck me i remember this like it was yesterday! 100 of us met in the black prince at aldgate east! at 6am! had to knock the guvnor of that pub up so we could get bang on it! then 2 coach loads of us set off at 9am! with a coach full of booze! great day great atmosphere! shame about the result but we didnt give a toss! we,re west ham united! and hackett is a PRICK!! he,s always hated west ham! fucking northern ponce! but those were great days following west ham in 80s and early 90s!

Stood halfway up the Holte End..Couldn't talk at work on Monday...Best support I have ever seen.
Now live in Australia..tried telling the Aussies about the day and they don't understand.
I will never forget that day.
