A short video of Ken and Godfrey climbing the Inaccessible Pinnacle (In Pin or In Pinn at 986 metres) filmed by Fi Chappell. The In Pin is the hardest Munro on Skye and the UK. The guided ascent took place on the 3rd June 2010. For more info and photos see the Talisman Mountaineering blog at http://talisman-activities.blogspot.com/2010/06/last-weeks-cuillin-ridge-cour...
This sensational moderate climb up the east ridge a knife edge fin of rock has good holds but exceptional exposure... It was first climbed by the Pilkindon brothers in 1880. It is the hardest Munro summit to tick for the average mountain walker. To gain the top requires rock climbing skills, ropes, calm weather, a good head for heights and finally an abseil to get back down again!
