Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Mar 14 08 A

Am I uploading these too fast? I never really did daily uploads of a game before...If I am, you can know that I'll be taking it a little easy over the weekend, especially Sunday, as I've got two final essays to write.

Match #1
Marth
Distant Planet
Marth is supposedly one of the best characters in SSBM but that he was considerably toned down here. I can feel it; his attacks don't have nearly as much knockback as before, and I think the Counter lasts a shorter time. I'm not very experienced as Marth, however. Swordfighting is cliché.

King Dedede
Bridge of Eldin
I'm still rather perplexed as to what kind if stage suits the Waddle Dee Army best. It seems designed for small stages, but here, people had an easy time jumping over everything. Dedede sure is hard to use. He's so slow, but if an attack connects, it really hurts. I also need to continue working on recovery using his up special. By the way, that's a Gooey Bomb that blasted Toon Link near the end. All these tiny items. The Screw Attack, Franklin Badge, Motion Sensor Bomb...they all look the same. (Oh, yes. Dedede's Final Smash works wonderfully on the Mario Bros. stage.)

Captain Falcon
Pokémon Stadium 2
This time, I wasn't able to use that Knee as often, as Pokémon Stadium 2 isn't as verticlly oriented as Hanenbow. But I no longer have a problem finding out which way he's facing. The randomizer seems to pick Captain Falcon for me a lot...And as you can see, Lucario does not suck. He's simply less powerful at low damage percentage.

In the stage Bridge of Eldin, Dedede's final smash would seem to work if they appeared above them, like for the hit to Toon link at 4:42
