Vergil shoulda waited a while before goin' after Mundus. He just got weakened a LOT from his battle with Dante. Seems like Vergil never stops fighting.

Nero is not vergil's son. Nero has an arm of a demon, yet that has no relation towards vergil. I belive Nero is full demon an not human. I believe nero is connected with sparda an not dante n nero. Yes sparda is the father of vergil but who did the sword belong to first? Sparda.

im just guessing here, but maybe his sword was attached to his soul and when he died, it broke

Sorry guys but i've come up with a theory.

All evidence except the Age and timeline that Nero is Vergil's son even the old guy saying he is.

Maybe, but Yamato broke and that got me wondering. In DMC weapons are close to their weilders and it may be possible that some of Vergil's soul joined wth it, so could Nero be a result of Yamato breaking? As powerful as Mundus was i don't think Yamato was broken by him. Ideas? I don't think so but it's a possiblity we haven't looked at.

Yes Mundus is the final boss in DMC 1. What you see in DMC 3is simply his three eyes when Vergil sees him, while Dante see Mundus' full form in DMC 1.

When you fought Mundus in DMC 1 your final devil form when you fight Mundus was Sparda.
