have a 13 year old and 4 month old bullys,the old one LOVED my boat would ride the bow all day like a hood ornament!!!BUT ABSOLUTELY HATES TO SWIM WITH ALL HIS BEING!!!EVEN WITH A DOGGIE LIFE VEST HE ONLY WANTS INSTANTLY OUT OF THE WATER!!!THE PUPPY WADED KNEE DEEP IN A LAKE TODAY FOR HIS FIRST TIME,HOPING MAYBE HE WILL LIKE SWIMMING EVEN A LITTLE BIT MORE THAN MY OLD ONE!

Beautiful clip, we lived at the beach and our 13 year old boy spend everyday in the sea or on the beach and never once had any skin problems and oh yes to the swimming and the sinking so we had ours use a dog float so no drowning..

otitis?thought you made that one up,but i see it's an ear infection!!no,he,s never had any problem with his ear,it is a blue flag beach he swims from so it's pretty clean and i guess he's just been lucky.

Yes I agree with the others. Bullies don't usually like getting wet, goes for having baths too! Even in the rain, mine would give me such a look .... "I don't do rain!!".... I'm gonna get another one, probably a miniature. Although I've heard they are prone to more illnesses, kidney, eyes, etc ???

Yes,he hates the rain and hates having a bath even more,but cannot get him out of the sea,mm strange that!

my bullterrier is 12 Years old and he hates swimming and the bath he fall into a gold fish water when he was 8 weeks since then he even not goes out when its hard rain. haha

yeah,it seems that almost all bull terriers don,t like going in the water for some reason.a lot of bullie owners that i meet seem surprised that bully is fearless in the sea.
