Wyden Commemorates 600 Town Halls

Marking a milestone 600th town hall, Senator Wyden and his staff put together a web video featuring pictures taken during Wyden's 16 years of traveling the state.

On February 17, 1996, Wyden held his first town hall meeting as a U.S. Senator in Fossil, Oregon. It was the beginning of Wyden's pledge to hold a town hall meeting in each of Oregon's 36 counties each year.

Thank you, Senator Wyden for asking the powers that be about following us via our cell phones. I don't go anywhere important out here in Helix, Oregon, but it's nice to know we may be followed if the need be per the powers of the Executive Branch of Government. I am an open person with little to hide, but if I am noted to be at the Lutheran German Cemetery on Myrick Road putting up some wreaths for the old pioneers that once farmed this land, hooray, as Eastern Oregon is Oregon too.

i like the video, I'm proud that he has taken the time to hold these town halls around the state.

there are some issues that would be nice for him to address: One, how can the people of Oregon but community projects to work to help the Senior and Disabled Office projects together and work with each other project that are out in the each community.

Two, where are the seniors and disabled get the needed help if the/services that these groups rely on are continuietly being cut.
