  • Now how dis you make it so that whith each type of marble, it selects the proper bin?

  • @TheKoolaidaddict why what...

  • when i was doing this my teacher said to never use a bottle or funnel for the hopper but i ended up just using a rolled up file, though this is a good idea...

  • @LaneMaddox00 to be more specific, for analog or digital its different, (analog being plug into EX or EY, digital into E1-E8 or I1-I8) analog would be the photocell and a phototransistor would be the digital... They work differently depending on where its plugged but they're the same light sensor.

  • @LaneMaddox00 hey why don't you check mine out on my channel. We had to sort 5 different materials and we decided to incorporate pneumatics and motors. In my description I explain how we sensed and sorted each one. I think it could give you some ideas.

  • @LaneMaddox00 It's a light sensor.

  • thats a realy good idea...we are using pnuematincs instead of motors and can u tell me wat used to identify the marbles on the sorter....wat part is it

  • wow man good job i didn't even think about that: using a track and a motor as the gate... i used a 2v motor with a claw lever and one of those rounded yellow pieces... i like the baskets though great idea. i have a track and motor and mini switches. i have only 2 baskets. i used an electromagnet up near the top of the track to take out the metal ones immediately.
