This is my WWI, American "doughboy" uniform. I used to reenact The Great War (1918) with my dad in Pennsylvania during the first weekend of November.

This is what I wore and I just wanted to share the uniform and a little history about it.

    It's actually my Father's. He got it from a family friend who collects the pieces and purchased it from him. It is 100% authentic (minus the string and clasp buckle on my Small Box Resp. and the trousers -The trousers are from period material, but were reproduced... the material is the same age, but the trousers are not).

    That's basically it. I just inherited his uniform.
