I recently got a new laptop (an ASUS N54SV-SZ016V), which is a pretty big update from my crappy old PC. I'm not sure if I would have been able to play DiRT2 on my old PC, but it runs at about 40-50 fps on the laptop with mostly highest settings at 1366 x 786. It can also run Crysis with most settings on high (shaders and shadows on medium) at 30-40 fps. It's good enough for me.
