Building a deck from scap lumber that use to be thrown out at Home Depot. It took two months of collecting, but in the end all I had to pay was $100 for the screws at Home Hardware, and at Home Depot: $60 for the stain, $7 for the landscape fabric, $3 for paint brushes. I used a Canadian Tires, Master Craft 14V impact wrech and Master craft 14V Drill to assemble the deck, they performed well, but the batteries were weak. It took about 66 hours to build over 6weeks due to weather.

  • nice job, but you should have staggered the decking so it looks better, still it looks good!

  • @Timgeo84 yeah, i was too lazy. thanks though

  • I was about tho do the same thing, now I have a better idea of how it's gonna look like.

    well done dude.

  • @kelvyfajardo cool thanks, i used screws, but nails are easier for the base, screws for the top is ok. its been a while now and it hasn't shifted, actually if anything, it feels more settled and stable.
