It's honestly not a really big deal and the fact that it broke your heart says something more about you than Julian. He's an actor, a good actor, and does what needs to be done for the video. Smoking 1 cigarette wouldn't hurt anyone except people with unrealistic views of smoking. Nothing in this video should suggest he's gonna stop following his dreams.

The cocaine is just powered milk, the kind used for babies. It's the same stuff movies such as Goodfellas and Boogie Nights use to fake cocaine. There'd be no way to shoot this movie if people were actually doing coke. The cigarette, though, is real.
